Potato chips (french fries) | ||
Bread, fresh, white | ||
Butter | ||
Salt | ||
Pepper | ||
Vinegar |
Cut the bread into slices about 1/2 inch thick. Butter each slice on top side only. Place a single layer of chips on one half of each slice. Add salt, pepper and vinegar to taste. Fold the bread over the chips being careful not to break the slice at the fold. Eat out of doors, preferrably while sitting on the front step.
