Title: Mosimann's Braised Cabbage

2 | md | Savoys; chopped |
4 | sl | Bacon |
1 | Onion; sliced fine | |
20 | ml | Vegetable oil |
25 | g | Carrots; sliced |
Salt & pepper |
Wash the cabbage well & dry thoroughly. In a large shallow pan, sweat the derinded bacon with the onion in the oil. Add the carrots and cabbage, season and moisten with a little water. Cover the pan. Cook for 5-6 minutes, then remove lid. Give the cabbage a stir and check for seasoning. It should be just cooked.
