1/2 | c | Salt |
1 | ts | Freshly ground pepper |
1 | c | Wood chips for smoking |
Trout -- cleaned |
Soak chips in water for 1 hour. Place trout in a dish, Roll it in salt and pepper.Put weight on top.Let stand in the refrigerator 6 hours. Remove salt. Place chips in pan. Place grill on top.Place trouts on grill, smoke 15 minutes.
