Title: Cranberry Fig Relish

Yield: 3 Cups
3/4 | lb | Cranberries (3 cups) |
1 | c | Finely chopped dried figs |
1 | c | Chopped onion |
1/4 | c | Packed brown sugar |
1 | tb | Grated orange rind |
1/4 | ts | Pepper |
1/2 | c | Water |
1/2 | c | Red wine vinegar |
1/4 | c | Maple syrup |
In heavy saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for about 50 minutes or until thickened, stirring frequently. Remove from heat; let cool. Source: The Vancouver Sun Oct 5/94
