Title: Hamburger or Hot Dog Relish

Yield: 1 Servings
4 | c | Chopped onions |
1 | md | Cabbage chopped |
4 | c | Green tomatoes, chopped |
12 | Green peppers, chopped | |
6 | Red peppers, chopped | |
1/2 | c | Salt |
6 | c | Sugar |
1 | tb | Celery seed |
2 | tb | Mustard seed |
1 1/2 | ts | Tumeric |
4 | c | Cider vinegar |
2 | c | Water |
Vegetables can be chopped by hand, or in food processor. Sprinkle salt over the chopped vegetables, and let stand overnight. In morning, drain and rinse until water runs clear. Bring remaining ingredients to a boil, and pour over vegetables. Bring back to boil again, and simmer for 3-5 minutes. Pack into clean, sterilized jars and seal. Allow to 'cure' for about a week before using.
