Title: "Clotted" Cream Substitute (A Rich Creamy Spread)

7 | oz | Pack creamed cheese |
3 | tb | Melted butter |
8 | oz | Thick whipping cream |
Whip the whipping cream almost hard; add the softened creamed cheese. Mix together and then add the butter. Mix all together and that's it! This was made as a substitute for "clotted" cream which takes 36 hours to make from pasteurized cream. It originated in Cornwall, England and is eaten with scones and strawberry jam. Serve it with a pot of tea and it is called "creamed teas".
