Gently for 4 hours. |
Let cool for 4 hours. Repeat this procedure 2 more times. Place in blender and blend on high for 20 seconds. Strain mixture through a sieve that has been lined with muslin (panty hose will do) and place in small bottles. Yield: 8 four ounce containers of lotion. Variation: You can add 6 ounces melted beeswax to the warm, strained oil. Stir thoroughly and shake bottle until cool. You can also add 40 drops of lavender oil to the strained lotion.
