1 | c | Mayonnaise (preferably Hellmann's) |
1/2 | c | Prepared mustard |
1/2 | ts | Sugar |
1/4 | ts | Salt |
1/4 | ts | Paprika |
1/2 | ts | To 1 tsp cayenne pepper |
: Mix the ingredients together in a small bowl with a fork until well blended. This recipe makes enough sauce for dipping approximately 3 pounds of fried fish fillets.
Note: this recipe doubles, triples, and quadruples well without any let-up of flavor. Make it hotter by adding more cayenne pepper to either the sauce or the fish batter.
