Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking powder and salt. Work in butter and cheese with 2 spatulas or tips of fingers. Add milk. Mix quickly and lightly. Drop by teaspoonfuls on well-oiled baking sheet. Bake in hot oven (450ø F) 12 minutes. 8 servings. The Household Searchlight - 1941
