Cucumbers; freshly picked | ||
Several sprigs of dill | ||
4 | Or 5 garlic cloves | |
1/4 | c | 100% grain vinegar |
1 | c | Canning salt |
;Warm water |
Wash cucumbers and pack them into a wide-mouth gallon jar. Add dill, garlic and vinegar. Dissolve salt in enough warm water to fill jar and close. Let stand 5 or 6 days. Place in refrigerator and use as needed.
