2 | qt | Cucumbers; sliced unpeeled |
1 | md | Onion; sliced thin |
2 | ts | Salt |
1 1/2 | c | Sugar |
1/2 | c | Vinegar |
: Mix first 3 ingredients and refrigerate for 2 hours. Drain thoroughly,
but do not rinse.
Mix together until completely dissolved the following: 1 1/2 cup sugar
and 1/2 cup vinegar. Pour over pickles. Juice should cover them. Will keep
in refrigerator for a couple of weeks or put in containers and freeze.
