Title: Vaunted Vinegar Sauce

Yield: 2 Cups
2 | c | Cider vinegar |
2 | tb | Sugar or brown sugar |
2 | ts | Salt |
1 | ts | Fresh ground black pepper |
1 | ts | Cayenne or hot red pepper |
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and stir to dissolve the sugar. Serve at room temperature or chilled. The sauce keeps indefinitely.
