Title: Corn Vinegar
Categories: Australian Condiment
Yield: 1 Servings
1 1/8 | l | Corn |
22 1/2 | l | Water, cold. |
4 | c | Sugar |
Steep corn in water 2-3 hours, then heat it till the corn shows signs of bursting. Do not let it burst, but take it off the fire and strain the liquor into a cask, adding about 4 cups of sugar.
Set the cask where the sun can shine on it, and in about 3-4 weeks it will have become vinegar.
