Title: Granny's Spiced Vinegar

1 | pt | Vinegar |
1 | tb | Molasses |
1 | ts | Golden syrup |
1 | pn | Salt |
1/4 | ts | Pepper |
1 | Onion, grated, for juice | |
1 | Garlic clove, crushed, for juice. | |
1 | ts | Lemon zest |
1/2 | c | Water |
1/4 | ts | Ginger, ground |
Blend all ingredients together, and store in a cool place. For a thicker sauce blend 1 tablespoon flour with a little cold water. Heat basic vinegar mixture and stir in thickener. Allow to cool and use within 2 weeks.
