4 | l | Water |

Search woodruff that is not yet blooming. Wash it very well and shake dry.
Put it into a pot, cover it with 1 l (1 quart) wine vinegar and let it stay
for 4 days. Then strain through a cloth. Heat 2000 g (4 pound 6.5 oz) sugar
in 4 l (4 quart) water until boiling. Add 1 bottle red wine and the
woodruff-vinegar and heat but do NOT boil it. Pour into clean and heated
bottles. My SO is very fond of drinking this in summer diluted with about
5-10 times water. From: Carmen Bartels previous next
