1 1/2 | c | Sugar |
1 | ts | Ground cinnamon |
1 | Tart apple, peeled, cored, | |
And sliced | ||
1 | Ripe pear, peeled, cored, | |
And sliced | ||
1 | c | Dried apricots |
1 | c | Dried pitted prunes |
1/2 | c | Dried currants |
In a large saucepan bring wine and sugar to a simmer. Add cinnamon and apple; cook 10 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and cook 10 minutes longer. Allow to sit at room temperature overnight.
