Title: Vermicelli with Tomato Sauce

INGREDIENTS | ||
1/2 | c | Chopped onion |
3 | c | Peeled, chopped tomatoes |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
1/2 | ts | Dried whole oregano |
3 | c | Hot cooked and drained vermicelli |
DIRECTIONS | ||
1 | ts | Reduced-calorie margarine |
1 | ts | Paprika |
1/2 | ts | Dried whole basil |
1/8 | ts | Pepper |
Saute' onion in margarine in nonstick skillet. Add tomatoes, paprika, salt, basil, oregano and pepper; cover and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, and serve over hot vermicelli.
