2 | cl | Garlic; minced |
1/2 | c | Water |
8 | oz | Tomato sauce |
1 | ts | Vinegar |
2 | | Sticks cinnamon |
1 | | Bay leaf |
1 | ts | Salt |
1/4 | ts | Pepper |
15 | oz | Can garbanzo beans; drained |
10 | oz | Frozen peas |
1/2 | c | Red bell pepper; or sliced |

Cut pork in 1 x 1.5" pieces. In a large skillet, heat oil. Saute pork and
garlic until brown. Drain excess fat. Add water and cook, uncovered, on
medium heat until liquid is reduced. Add next 6 ingredients and cook
covered over low heat 20 min, stirring occasionally. Add remaining
vegetables, cover, and cook 5 min. If using pimientos, add just before
serving. Discard cinnamon and bay leaf before serving.
