3/4 | c | All Purpose flour |
3/4 | c | Bread flour |
3 | tb | Gluten flour |
3 | tb | Buttermilk powder |
2 | tb | Nine grain mix (optional) |
2 | tb | Lemon juice |
1 | tb | Sugar |
1 | tb | Caraway seeds |
1 | tb | Minced onions (optional) |
1 | tb | Oil |
1 | ts | Salt |
1 | ts | All Spice seasoning |
1 | lg | Egg |
1 1/4 | c | Water |
Adjust the amount of onions, grain and seeds to suit.
Use 1+T of either Rye or bread flour to adjust moisture, if necessary.
This recipe makes a very delicate and mild rye bread.
Variations: For a stronger onion flavor, try substituting onion salt for regular salt.
