COOKIES | ||
1 | pk | Strawberry Flavor Gelatin; 3 oz. pkg. |
1 | pk | Flaked Coconut; 14-oz. pkg.; 14 oz. pkg. = 5 1/3 cups |
1 | cn | Sweetened Condensed Milk; |
NOT EVAPORATED MILK! | ||
1/2 | ts | Almond Extract |
5 | dr | Red Food Color; 5-6 drops; if desired |
FROSTING | ||
1 | c | Powdered Sugar |
2 | tb | Margarine or Butter; softend |
1 | tb | Milk |
2 | dr | Green Food Color; 2-3 drops |
In lrg. Bowl, combine all cookie ingredients; blend well. Refrigerate 1 hr. or until firm enough to handle.
Using 1 tbsp. mixture for each cookie, form into strawberry shapes. Roll in red sugar, if desired. In small bowl, combine all frosting ingredients; blend until smooth. Using pastry bag and deisred tip, pipe frosting stems and leaves on top of strawberries. Store in refrigerator. Makes 4 doz.
