Title: Honey Apple Crescent Squares

1 | 8 oz. Pillsbury refrig. | |
Crescent dinner rolls | ||
3 | tb | Margarine, softened |
3 | tb | Honey |
2 | md | Apples, peeled, cut into |
Thick slices, about 3 cups | ||
1/2 | To 1 c.finely chopped almond |
Heat oven to 375 f. Lightly grease 13x9 pan. Unroll dough into 2 long rectangles. Place in greased pan; press over bottom to form crust. Firmly press perforations to seal In a small bowl, combine margarine and honey; blend well. Brush crust with 1-1/2 tb. honey mixture. Arrange apple slices over honey mixture, overlapping slightly. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until edges are deep golden brown and apples are tender. Brush top with remaining honey mixture; sprinkle with almonds. Cool slightly; cut into squares. Serve warm.
