Title: Honey Mustard Sandwich Buns

BUNS
4 1/2 To 5 c. of bread flour
2tbSugar
1tsSalt
1pkFast-acting dry yeast
1cMilk
1/2cWater
3tbMargarine or butter
1/4cPurchased Honey-Dijon BBQ
  Sauce
1 Egg
TOPPING
1tbWater
1 Egg
2tbSesame or poppy seed

Grease 2 cookie sheets. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. In large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, salt and yeast; blend well. In small saucepan, heat milk, 1/2 c. water and margarine until very warm (120 to 130). Add warm liquid, BBQ sauce and 1 egg to flour mixture. Blend at low speed until moistened; beat 3 minutes at medium speed. By hand, gradually stir in an additional 2 cups flour until dough pulls cleanly away from sides of bowl. On floured surface, knead in remaining 1/2 to 1 cup flour until dough is smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes. Place dough in greased bowl; cover loosely with greased plastic wrap and cloth towel. Let rise in warm place (80 to 85 F.) until light and doubled in size, 45 to 60 minutes. Punch down dough several times to remove all air bubbles. Cover dough with large bowl; let rise 15 minutes. Divide dough into 16 pieces; shape into balls. Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheets. Flatten each ball to form 4-inch circle. Cover; let rise warm place until light and doubled in size, 20 to 30 minutes. Heat oven to 375 F. In small bowl, combine 1 tb. water and 1 egg; beat slightly. Uncover dough. Brush with mixture; sprinkle with sesame seed. Bake for 13 to 18 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheets; cool on wire racks.

Tip: Pillsbury best all-purpose or unbleached flour can be substituted for bread flour. Decrease kneading time to 5 minutes; omit resting period and decrease each rise time 15 to 30 minutes.
