Title: Short Cut Apple Pie

1 | pk | 15oz. Pillsbury refrigerated |
Pie crusts | ||
2 | cn | Sliced apples, drained |
3/4 | c | Sugar |
2 | tb | Flour |
2 | ts | Apple pie spice |
2 | tb | Margarine or butter |
Prepare pie crust according to package directions for 2 crusts pie using 9-inch pie pan. Heat oven to 425 degrees. In large bowl, combine apples, sugar, and apple pie spice; mix lightly. Spoon into pie crust-lined pan. Dot with margarine. Top with remaining crust; fold edge of top crust under bottom crust. Press together to seal; flute edge. Cut slits in top crust. Bake at 425 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes or until filling starts to bubble and crusts is deep golden brown. Cover edge of crust with strips of foil after 15 to 20 minutes of baking to prevent excessive browning.
