2 | lb | Ground beef |
2 | c | Bread crumbs,soft |
2 | ts | Salt |
1/2 | ts | Black pepper |
1/2 | c | Onion,minced |
2 | c | Potatoes,mashed,instant |
1 | c | Evaporated milk |
2 | | Eggs |
2 | ts | Mustard,dry |
1/2 | ts | Thyme |
4 | oz | American cheese,cubed |
1 | tb | Butter |
1. Combine beef with evaporated milk, bread crumbs, eggs, salt, dry
mustard, pepper, thyme, onion and cheese cubes.
2. Turn mixture into a greased 10-inch pie plate.
3. Bake in preheated 350'F. oven 50 minutes.
4. Remove from oven; increase heat to 450'F.
5. Prepare potatoes according to package directions.
6. Pipe potatoes through a pastry tube in a lattice design on top of meat;
dot with butter.
7. Return to oven; bake 10 minutes longer.
