1/2 | c | Celery slices |
1/4 | c | Chopped green pepper |
1/4 | c | Chopped onion |
2 | tb | Butter |
2 | tb | All-purpose flour |
2 | tb | Sugar |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
1/4 | ts | Ground black pepper |
1 | c | Water |
1/2 | c | Cider Vinegar |
1/2 | lb | Sliced hard salami |
Do not peel potatoes. Cook in boiling water until tender; drain. Cool
slightly; peel. Cut into slices. Cook celery, green pepper and onion in
butter until tender. Stir in flour, sugar, salt and pepper. Combine water
and vinegar; gradually stir into flour mixture. Cook stirring constantly,
until thick and bubbly. Stir in potatoes and salami. Cook 5 minutes or
until throughly heated.
