Title: BARRY'S SOUR CREAM 'N CHIVES POTATO BREAD

3 | c | White bread flour |
1 1/2 | c | Water |
2/3 | c | Instant potatoes |
1/2 | c | Sour cream |
2 | tb | Sugar |
2 | tb | Chives, cut * |
4 | tb | Bacon, real bacon bits ** |
1 | tb | Applesauce *** |
1 1/2 | ts | Yeast |
1/2 | ts | Onion salt **** |
* | Use | fresh or dried cut chives. |
** Use jar of Hormel Real Bacon Bits, or, cook and cut your own from bacon strips. NOTE: After making the first loaf, I will probably double the : amount of chives and bacon. : Add chives and bacon at the beep. *** Oil may be substituted. Alternative: If using cooked and cut bacon strips, use fat from bacon for enhanced flavor.
**** Substitute 1/2 t table salt and 1/2 t onion juice. NOTE: If bread rises too much, add 1/2 t salt.
