Recipe by: Lipton Onion Soup Box circa 1970's Preheat oven to 350ø. Grease a glass roasting dish with butter; set aside. Dissolve onion soup in hot water. Brown chops in a little oil in skillet. Place potato slices one at a time in the greased dish, layering as needed. Place browned chops on top potato slices. Pour dissolved soup over chops. Spread mushrooms over top. Turn chops over. Cover and bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until chops are done and potatoes tender. Note: You can adjust number of chops and potatoes for the size of your family. Just make sure to occasionally check to make sure all liquid is not cooked away.
