Title: Viennese Potato with Sauerkraut+

Yield: 4 Servings

1mdOnion -- chopped
2tbBacon or pork fat
2cSauerkraut -- (16 oz. can)
  Rinsed and liquid --
  Replaced by water
1/2tsCaraway seeds
3/4cWhite wine
1mdPotato -- peeled and grated

Saute onion in fat until tender. Add remaining ingredients except potato. Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes. Add grated potato and simmer for another 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
