Title: Fishermen's Best Spread

2 | Envelopes | |
1/2 | c | Cold water |
1 | c | Boiling water |
2 | c | Sour cream |
1 | c | Wishbone® thousand island |
Dressing | ||
2 | 7 oz cans | |
And flaked | ||
1/4 | c | Finely chopped onion |
1 | ts | Dill weed |
Knox® unflavored gelatine | ||
Tuna or salmon -- drained |
In a large bowl, sprinke gelatine over cold water; let stand 1 minute. Add boiling water and stir until gelatine is completely dissolved. With a wire whip or rotary beater, blend in sour cream and thousand island dressing. Fold in remaining ingredients. Turn into a 6-cup mold or bowl; chill until firm. Makes about 5 1/2 cups spread.
Note: Recipe can be halved. Turn into a 3-cup mold or bowl. You may also substitute canned shrimp or crabmeat.
