Title: Salmon Steaks Teriyaki

***TERIYAKI SAUCE*** | ||
1/4 | c | Soy sauce |
2 | tb | Brown sugar |
2 | ts | Finely chopped garlic |
2 | ts | Fresh lemon juice |
1/2 | ts | Asian sesame oil |
1/4 | ts | Salt |
4 | Salmon steaks | |
1. H | eat | grill. |
2. Make Teriyaki Sauce: Combine all ingredients in large shallow glass dish; add salmon steaks and turn to coat. Let stand 20 minutes.
3. Arrange salmon on grill; reserve sauce. Grill over medium-hot heat, brushing frequently with sauce, 4 to 5 minutes per side until cooked through. Makes 4 servings.
Making your own teriyaki sauce just takes a few ingredients--soy, sugar, garlic, lemon and Asian sesame oil. As the salmon grills, this sweet soy-basting sauce caramelizes, giving the fish a rich golden glaze.
