VARIATIONS USING THE SYRUP BASE
Lemonade or Limeade: Add 2 tablespoons of syrup to 8 ounces of chilled still or sparkling spring water. Stir. Instead of garnishing with a piece of mint or wedge of lemon, try a sprig of thyme.
Red, White and Blue Lemonade: In a small bowl, crush 2 ripe strawberries or 6 raspberries with a fork and stir in 2 tablespoons of lemonade syrup. Pour into a glass with ice, 5 blueberries and add 8 to 12 ounces of water. Stir.
Lemon Cream Soda: Add 2 tablespoons of lemonade syrup, 2 tablespoons of cream and 8 ounces of chilled sparkling water to a glass of ice. Stir.
Fruit Ade: If you favor a particular fruit with your lemonade or limeade syrup, add 2 tablespoons of fruit to every 2 tablespoons of syrup (or to taste) and store in the refrigerator. Then just add it to the water. It will keep this way for about 1 month. From: The Dallas Morning News Typos by Bobbie Beers
