2 | ts | Lemon essence |
2 | c | Water |

1 | c | Yeast [teacup] |
Boil the chillies in 4 quarts of water. Add the sugar and hops. Boil for 30 minutes. Add 8 quarts of water, cream of tartar, yeast, essence of lemon, then bottle.
