Title: Coffee-Making - Old Style [F&f/cwa]
Categories: Beverages Coffee Party Aussie Old
Yield: 1 Servings
Coffee, ground. |
Most people use a percolator these days but many still favour the old method. Warm the coffee in a saucepan [1 level tablespoon to 1/2 pint water for weak and 2 level tablespoons for medium or 3 for very strong coffee]. Add water and a pinch of salt.
Bring slowly just to the boil, strain at once into a heated coffee pot. For black coffee a pinch of mustard brings out the flavour.
