Title: Grapefruit Liqueur #2

2 Grapefruit
1/2 Orange; rind of
10 Sweet almonds
  1 5th Whiskey

Wash and dry the grapefruit well. Cut off several thin slices of rind and put into a preserving jar. Cut the fruit into segments and remove the membranes between them. Place in the jar with the orange rind and chopped almonds. Pour the whiskey over; seal well and leave for 4 weeks. Strain and filter the liqueur and if required, sweeten with sugar to taste. The remaining grapefruit segments may be added to fruit salad or to seafood.
