1cCreme de casis
1/4cSugar
3tbLemon juice, freshly squeezd
1qtCran-raspberry juice
750mlBottle champagne, chilled
12ozBottle seltzer or club soda
  Ice cubes, optional
  Lemon slices

Combine the creme de casis, sugar, and lemon juice until blended in large pitcher or punch bowl. Pour in cran-raspberry juice. Cover and refrigerate until serving time, or up to two days.

At serving time, pour the punch into a punch bowl if base was stored in a pitcher. Add the champagne and seltzer or club soda. Add the ice and lemon slices, if desired. Serve at once.
