5 | tb | Sugar |

3 | tb | -Water, hot |
2 | c | Milk |
1/2 | ts | Vanilla |
Combine cocoa, sugar, salt, and hot wter in a heat proof glass pitcher (3- to 4-cup capacity) or 1-qt. measuring cup. Microwave on high (full power) for 1 to 1.1/2 mins. or until boiling. Add milk; cook on high about 1.1/2 to 2 mins. or until hot. Stir in vanilla.
Conventional method - combine cocoa, sugar, salt, and water in saucepan. Bring to boil over med. heat, stirring constantly; boil and stir 2 mins. Add milk and vanilla; stir and heat to serving temperature.
