Title: Honey Mulled Cider - Crockpot

1/3 | c | Honey |
1/8 | ts | Salt |
ds | Ginger, ground | |
ds | Nutmeg, ground | |
5 | Sticks cinnamon; 5 inches | |
5 | Whole cloves |
In crockery cooker combine all above ingredients (tie cinnamon and cloves in cheesecloth, if desired). Cover; heat on low setting 4 to 4 1/2 hours.
(To "mull" means to heat - to infuse with the flavors of the other ingredients, which are generally spices or herb. Both apple cider and red wine lend themselves to be mulled with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice.)
