brother Walter Taylor...I have no idea where he got the recipe...
Mix instant coffee and 1 qt. boiling water until coffee is dissolved and
let stand overnight. Boil together sugar and 2 cups cold water for 12 to
15 minutes. Add coffee liquid and stir. Then add vanilla extract and
alcohol. Stir well. Bottle and cap.
Pure grain alcohol can be bought at a state alcohol store.
Makes 1/2 gallon. Best if left to age for a few days before using.
