Title: Licor De Tangerina / Tangerine Liqueur [Ttop]

600 | ml | Spirits [Brandy or aguardente.][1 pint] |
750 | ml | Water. [1 1/4 pints] |
675 | g | Castor sugar |
6 | md | Tangerines, or clementines, or mandarins.] |
Juice of 3 of the fruits used.] |
Macerate the rind, juice and spirits for 3 weeks. After that add a syrup made with the water and sugar, boiled for 2-3 minutes and cooled. Mix well. Leave to stand for 2-3 days. Filter and bottle.
Worderfully fragrant, this liqueur is excellent for flavouring cakes, puddings and fruit salads, as an aid to digestion. [Hence very appropriate to serve after a meal.]
