150 | ml | Boiling water |
1 | Orange; juice only | |
1 | Lemon; juice only | |
250 | ml | Ginger ale or soda water |
6 | Ice cubes | |
1 | lg | Sprig mint; for garnish |
Put the chopped mint into a heatproof jug with the sugar and pour on the boiling water. Leave to cool, then add the freshly squeezed fruit juices. Chill for 2 to 3 hours in the refrigerator, then strain and add ginger ale or soda water, and ice cubes. Decorate with a sprig of mint and serve immediately. makes 2 to 3 large glasses.
