3/4 | c | Boiling water |
1 3/4 | c | Freshly brewed coffee |
1 | c | Light cream, scalded |
2 | tb | Creme de cacao |
2 | tb | Coffee liqueur |
1 | tb | Sugar |
MIXED WITH | ||
1 | ts | Unsweetened cocoa powder, |

Melt chocolate and sugar, taking care not to burn. Slowly beat in water with a wire whisk. Heat, stirring, for 3 minutes.
Stir in coffee and cream until blended. Remove pan from heat and stir in cream de cacao and coffee liqueur.
Divide among 4 heated mugs. Sprinkle with sugar and cocoa mixture, if desired and serve immediately.
