Title: New Year's Day Cider

1 Orange
  Whole Cloves
1gaApple Cider
  Juice of one lemon
1/2cBrown Sugar; packed
3 Cinnamon Sticks

Cut a thin slice off each end of orange, discard. Cut orange into 3 thick slices. Press cloves into skin of orange slices. Set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in 6-qt. Dutch Oven. Add clove studded orange slices to pan. Heat to simmer. Ladle heated cider into festive mugs.

Yield 32 half-cup servings.

Please note that I am guessing on the quantity of the brown sugar.... the recipe simply says "1/2 packed brown sugar"...we know it is not a teaspoon or tablespoon and a half-pound of brown sugar is just too much. If I find out different....I will repost.
