In best brandy - steep fresh mint, then make a syrup of sugar and water
(use this sparingly). Fill a tumbler (cut-glass) to 1/3 of brnady and then
put in 3 tsp. of syrup; fill the glass with pounded ice. Then stick 5 or 6
sprigs of fresh mint on top OR 3 strawberries.
If you use old whiskey instead of brancy, more is required to make it
strong enough. For extra - dash the julep with rum.
