Title: Quick Apricot Almond Sauce - Glorious Liqueurs

Yield: 1 (3/4) cup
12 | oz | Jar apricot jam |
2 | tb | Slivered or sliced almonds, |
Toasted if desired | ||
2 | tb | Apricot, peach or |
Amaretto-peach liqueur |
Melt jam until it bubbles for 2 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent burning. Remove from heat.
Force through fine sieve. Stir in almonds and liqueur. Serve warm.
Store any leftover sauce in a covered container in the refrigerator. Heat to serve, if desired or use as a chilled sauce/spread.
