Title: Sangrita Tequila Chaser

Yield: 6 Servings
1/2 | lb | Juicy tomatoes; cut into chunks |
1 | c | Tomato juice |
1/4 | c | Orange juice |
6 | tb | Fresh lime juice |
1 | ts | Worcestershire sauce |
1 | ts | Hot red-pepper sauce |
1 1/2 | ts | Kosher salt |
1 | tb | Chopped pickled jalapenos |
1/4 | c | Chopped onion |
TO USE: Shoot a shot of tequila and then chase it with a small glass (2 to 3 ounces) of the chilled Sangrita, followed by a suck on a lime wedge.
Place ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Strain through fine mesh strainer, discarding solids. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving. Mixture can be kept refrigerated up to 3 days. Makes 1-2/3 cups, or 6 to 8 servings.
