Warming and delicious, the hot toddy makes a wonderful nightcap, or soothes the sniffles, coughs and wheezes brought on by a Scottish winter.
Put 1-2 measures (ounces) of whiskey (depending on taste) into a heated glass, stir with honey and lemon juice, and add a little sugar to taste. Top with boiling water to taste and stir well. "Scotch Whiskey Recipes" by Jo Guthrie Jarrold Publishing, Norwich 1991 ISBN = 0-7117-0553-4
