Title: Winter Fruit Compote - Glorious Liqueurs

1 1/2 | c | Apricot nectar |
1 | c | Dried apricots |
1/2 | c | Dried pears |
1/2 | c | Golden raisins |
1/4 | c | Pitted prunes |
3/4 | c | Apricot brandy |
3 | Thin slices lemon | |
2 | Thin slices fresh ginger | |
2 | Granny Smith apples, halved, | |
Cored and sliced, UNpeeled | ||
2 | Pears, halved, cored and | |
Thickly sliced, UNpeeled |
Mix nectar, apricots, dried pears, raisins and prunes. Bring to a boil; stir in brandy, lemon and ginger. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
Add apple and pear slices. Simmer another 5 minutes, or until apples and pears are tender, but still hold their shape. Remove lemon and ginger slices. Serve warm.
