Title: Best Cheesecake

  Crumb Crust
2cCrumbs use graham crackers,
  Vanilla wafers, chocolate
  Cookies or ...
1/3cSugar
1/3cButter, melted
  Filling
4 8 oz. packages cream cheese
1 1/2cSugar
5 Eggs
3tsVanilla
2 1/2tsLemon juice
1/2tsLemon peel

Mix crumbs and press ina 9 inch springform pan and bake 350 for 6 minutes and cool. Soften cream cheese to room temperature. Cream the cream cheese and sugar together. Add the rest of the filling ingredients and mix well. Pour into crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. In the meantime, mix the topping ingredients. Topping : 1 pint sour cream, 2 tsp. vanilla, 1/4 cup sugar Spread topping on the cheesecake while it is still hot. Bake another 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Refrigerate at least 3 hours before removing from the pan. Optional: Spread cheese cake with preserves, pie topping or fresh fruit if desired. From: Leeann Mazurka From: Lir119
