Title: Almond Holly Leaves - Sl 12/86

Yield: 12 Dozen
1 | lb | Butter; softened |
1 | c | Powdered sugar; sifted |
2 | Eggs; beaten | |
4 | c | All-purpose flour |
1 | c | Almonds; toasted and finely chopped |
Cream butter; gradually add powdered sugar; beating well. Add eggs, and beat well. Stir in flour and almonds. Roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness on a floured surface with a floured rolling pin; cut into holly leaf shapes with a 1-1/2" cookie cutter. Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheets, and bake at 350 F degrees for 10 minutes or until edges are golden. Cool on wire racks. Yield: about 12 dozen.
Note: Cookies cut into larger sizes may be fragile.
