Title: Apple, Coconut/celery

3/4 | c | Tart Apples, diced |
3/4 | c | Diced celery |
1/2 | c | Shredded coconut |
1 | tb | Lemon juice |
1 | tb | Sugar |
4 | tb | Salad oil |
4 | tb | Orange juice |
ds | Salt to taste | |
ds | Pepper to taste | |
ds | Paprika to taste | |
GARNISH | ||
Lettuce leaves | ||
Currant Jelly OR plum jelly |
Mix apples, celery and coconut. Sprinkle lemon juice and sugar over mixture.
Mix oil, juice, salt and pepper and paprika; pour over salad.
Line salad bowl with lettuce leaves, pile chilled salad in center of bowl.
Dot with currant or plum jelly.
